Declaration on accessibility

We strive to make our website accessible in accordance with the Austrian Accessibility Act, as amended, which implements the European Accessibility Directive (EU) 2019/882 concerning the accessibility requirements for products and services.

Status of Compliance with the Requirements

This website is partially compliant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.2 and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 due to the following non-conformities and/or exemptions.

a) Non-compliance with Accessibility Requirements

• Derzeit sind für einige nicht-textuelle Inhalte auf nicht buchungsrelevanten Seiten keine Textalternativen verfügbar, wodurch das Kriterium 1.1.1 – Textalternativen – nur teilweise erfüllt wird. Es ist geplant, für sämtliche nicht-textuellen Inhalte entsprechende Textalternativen bereitzustellen.

b) Disproportionate Burden

• The application form on the careers page lacks labels and ARIA attributes, violating:

  1.3.5 – Identify Input Purpose
  2.4.6 – Headings and Labels
  2.5.3 – Label in Name
  3.3.2 – Labels or Instructions
  4.1.2 – Name, Role, Value
  Since the form is intended solely for job applicants and does not serve a booking function, a full redesign would constitute a disproportionate burden.

• When zooming to 200%, text elements overlap in the header, violating 1.4.4 – Resize Text. Resolving this would require reprogramming the website, which represents a disproportionate burden.

• At 200% zoom, a horizontal scrollbar appears in the submenu, violating 1.4.10 – Reflow. Fixing this would require reprogramming.

• Adjusting text spacing leads to overlapping links in the footer, again violating 1.4.12 – Text Spacing. Reprogramming would be required here too.

c) Content Outside the Scope of Legal Requirements

• The website contains older documents and content that are not accessible. Since they were published before June 28, 2025, they are exempt under the Accessibility Act, and no comprehensive updates are currently planned.
• The website includes third-party content (not developed, funded, or controlled by us). We cannot guarantee the accessibility of such third-party content, which is also exempt from the legal requirements.

The evaluation of the website’s compliance with the Accessibility Act was conducted through a self-assessment based on WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
